Le Yack — Red Carriage - Hand signed, a 40 × 40 cm giclée print from France, edition limited to 20 numbered copies, signed by the artist on the front and back, dating 2020 and after.
Description from the seller
In the intimate seclusion of a scarlet red train compartment, an elegant woman, dressed in a white winter coat and black sunglasses, sits alone on a polished wooden bench. She is bathed in the dazzling sunlight streaming through the windows, revealing a majestic snow-capped Alpine landscape under a pure blue sky. The work captures a moment of contemplative solitude during a luxury journey. The true narrative knot lies in the striking contrast between the interior warmth and vivid color of the carriage, and the immaculate yet splendid coldness of the exterior mountain. The woman seems suspended between two worlds, pensive before the silent vastness that surrounds her. Le Yack masterfully conveys this tension between interior comfort and exterior escape, creating a cinematic and melancholic atmosphere characteristic of contemporary American realism.
