Giennadij Pitsko – visual artist of Polish origin, born in 1970. In 1991 he finished an artistic high school in the ceramics department. Since 1991 he has been engaged in painting and ceramics. Since 1992 he has been involved in various artistic projects. His works are vividly colorful stories about what surrounds him. Giennadij Pitsko's dynamic painting is distinguished by warm, lively, and saturated color palettes, an atmosphere of fantasy and the phenomenal presence of women, as well as the ability to manipulate the texture of paint applied with a palette knife on canvas. The artist uses brushes and a spatula. Pitsko's painting is highly recognizable due to a distinctive color scheme, reflecting fascination with French artists such as Claude Monet and Amadeo Modigliani. Twenty years ago in Sopot he saw an exhibition by Jerzy Duda-Gracz and, at first sight, fell in love with creating with palette knives. Since then he has consistently worked in this technique. He also rejected the traditional way of depicting the figure, drawing instead on the experiences of contemporary painters. Pitsko's works are in the collections of institutions as well as private collectors and in other European countries and beyond Europe. The artist has participated in many national and international exhibitions and plein air events, both solo and group. He currently lives and works in Rumia.
A certificate of authenticity from the artist is included with the canvas.
Colors of the painting may differ slightly from those in the photos due to your monitor settings.
