Estifanos Solomon Born in Addis Ababa Ethiopia Growing up I have always seen myself somewhere along
the way telling a story through visual art that every creature deals with in their circle of life. Through
finding myself and my desire for art I decided to join the Art world starting from scratch graduating from
Russian cultural centre for primary level knowledge in Painting and basic visual arts and then Teferi
Mekonen (TMS) in Painting respectively this in turn contributed for my successful years in Addis Ababa
University Ale school of fine art and design ( ASFAD).

My day as a visual artist not only thought me about Art but also showed me the world from different
perspective that continued to inspire me with new ideas to develop in art and reflect that to the
community that watched me grow. As an artist, I have worked with many mediums, but with a focus on
printmaking and painting mainly. I continue to refine my techniques and find new ways to capture the
complication around us.
I enjoy bringing truth to the canvas, and finding new ways to make people see things in different ways and
show new perspective in ever day images and compositions. my art is mostly influenced and inspired by
passion and conflict. My artworks evokes emotions that mostly have been drawn from my Personal
experiences.
