Elisa Brindani - Geisha con ortensie

In this painting I wanted to depict a geisha with colors between blue and turquoise, adorned with two hydrangeas. The kimono, semi-open, hints at a beautiful body without revealing too much; she has her gaze turned elsewhere, in a contemplative attitude. The background color is also subdued, maintaining a rarefied and elegant atmosphere. The face is rendered with more detail while the decorations in the hair and on the kimono become more evanescent, blending with the background. Made with oil colors, the canvas measures 100x50 cm, it is ready to hang and is shipped with a certificate of authenticity.
