Novvm Testamentum, Anonymous, first Latin edition of the New Testament, published in 1703 by Sumptibus Bibliopolarum Parisiensium, in full brown morocco leather binding, 541 pages, 12 cm high, 6.5 cm wide, 3.2 cm thick, weight 195 g, in very good condition.

Rare edition 323 years old!
This beautifu Rare Edition New Testament from the collections of Bibliopolarum Parisiensium dated 1703 decorated with a title-frontispiece: the gravure signed N de Larmessin (Nicolas de Larmessin), which contains as title :”The law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John Chapter 1”
with in the pediment a verse extracted from the Gospel according to Saint John, the title in a book designated by Christ and held by cherubim.
A folding plate contain the map of the Holy Land, Jerusalem.
New testament contains four Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and Acts of the Apostles.
Full brown morocco binding of the early 18th century. Jansenist raised-band spine.
Some pages are noted by the person who has this book.
There are very slight lacks on the binding.
