ATTENTION: THE SOLD PIECE IS THE ONE WITH THE CUT
The image of the entire wall.. represents the passage of the work from the external wall to the internal space of buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside palaces, houses, or museums, completely changing the environment and meaning. In this case, the most interesting corner of the wall is selected and cropped, the one on which the street artist had carried out the exterior intervention. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cropped, this piece of wall can be moved and placed indoors: in homes, in buildings, in museums, or in other structures. In this way the work changes environment and function, moving from the public and everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and exhibited as a true artistic object. All of this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum context.
Natural imperfections, marks, and dents of the materials are not defects, but an integral part of the work: they testify to its urban history and reinforce the distinctive identity of true Street Art.
The work is delivered ready to hang. Upon the client’s request, framing can be arranged afterward.
The painting is signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing the originality and value of the piece.
