Description from the seller
Guitar from the old and legendary Magerit guitar house, it is very difficult to find a guitar from that company. It was located in Madrid, mainly linked to the Cuesta de Santo Domingo, during the 1950s and 1970s. Madrid was a hotbed of luthiers, with a lot of competition among themselves; many guitars from this house were made by local artisans, others were distributed through this house. It is a great merit to have found an instrument from this brand with this history.
The condition is very good, it has some signs of use, all visible in photos. On the back there is a small varnish lift, see photos. On the front top there are 2 cracks in the varnish, but nothing serious.
The sound is fabulous, flamenco yet versatile, bright and powerful. It is comfortable to play because it is a flamenco guitar with its own flamenco tolerances.
The woods:
Cypress in the body
German spruce in the top
