Alicja Ressa - Shadows
Artwork characterized by an orderly geometric structure made up of lines and rectangles that recall the plan of a city viewed from above. Inside this grid, small stylized human figures appear, accompanied by their elongated shadows, suggesting movement within the urban space.
The contrasts between light and shadow and the regular arrangement of the shapes create a dynamic composition that reflects on the relationship between the individual, space, and daily life in the city.

Alicja Ressa is a painter and interior designer living in Poland. Born in Krakow, where she attended the Academy of Fine Arts. Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in 1994. She currently focuses mainly on oil and acrylic easels. In her art, you can clearly see the influence of her passion for architecture and modernist art, as well as experimentation and the search for new expressive forms. A. Ressa has participated in contemporary art fairs and competitions, and has taken part in exhibitions, for example Galeria Cechmanowicz Poznań."
