The image of the whole wall represents the passage of the work from the exterior wall to the interior space of buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban public context, is transferred inside palaces, houses, or museums, completely changing the environment and meaning. In this case, the most interesting wall corner is selected and cropped, the one on which the street artist had carried out the external intervention. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cut, this piece of wall can be transferred and placed indoors: in homes, in palaces, in museums or in other buildings. In this way the work changes environment and function, moving from the public and everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and exhibited as a real artistic object. All this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum setting.

The natural imperfections, marks and dents of the materials are not defects but an integral part of the work: they testify to its urban life and reinforce its characteristic Street Art identity.

The work is delivered ready to hang. At the client’s request, it is possible later to proceed with framing.
