Description from the seller
Hathor is the goddess of love, music, joy and motherhood. Represented as a cow or a woman with horns, she was the protector of women and childbirth. She also guided the dead to the beyond, blending sweetness and funerary function.
Quim Moya (Barcelona, 1975) is a visual artist and cultural producer with a well-established international career. Since 2008, he has developed live painting performances that are presented in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas, at major festivals and avant-garde performing-arts contexts. Meanwhile, he starts and directs artistic projects with social commitment such as Natura és Cultura, La Caixa de Vidre and Acts of Liberation, where artistic creation becomes a tool for collective transformation, research and contemporary memory. He has created tailor-made artistic projects for international figures and brands such as Lewis Hamilton, Dan Brown, Porsche and FC Barcelona, integrating painting, performance and visual narrative. His practice connects painting, the body and the community, positioning art as a living process with cultural and human impact.
He has had more than 12 solo exhibitions, 30 group exhibitions and various awards.
