Title: Halong Harbour, belongs to the Essential Line, a series focused on formal reduction and the balance between sign, space and matter. The work develops through an essential composition, where the landscape dissolves into a few structural elements, letting emerge a suspended, timeless vision.
Work realized in oil on paper applied to a stretched canvas, 70 x 70 cm.
'The work depicts an evocative and suspended port vision, inspired by the famous Ha Long port. The composition unites industrial and maritime elements: a cargo ship loaded with colored containers crosses the painting space beneath a large suspended structure, suggesting movement, travel and global transit.
The surface is strongly tactile, reminiscent of oxidized traces of rust, which give depth and authenticity to the piece, visually recalling the theme of the wreck and industrial memory. The color palette, dominated by warm and sandy tones, is brightened by turquoise accents and the vivid colors of the ship, creating a dynamic balance between abstraction and figuration.'

'BARBARA NICOLETTO’ - Italian Artist.
January 1968- Padova
Active between Reggio Emilia and Padova.
Always passionate about art and drawing, she continues her studies at the Istituto d’Arte ‘Pietro Selvatico’ of Padova with a specialization in painting, experimenting with various representational techniques such as watercolor, tempera, acrylic, ink, oil and relief printing thanks to masters who deeply know the oldest techniques, reinterpreted with new formulas and current ones that make her an innovative and experimental artist.
The search for new stimuli and evolutionary balances leads her to collaborate in the world of sport, actively combining different disciplines for physical and psychological well-being, which, blended with the visual arts, collaborate and support her until guiding her hand in teaching artistic disciplines and to new professional goals.
Her Art cannot but evolve and change with her moods and curious personality! She rarely presents herself as a single recognizable artistic face in a linear production line, but will emerge and surprise with her eclectic mutability.
1989/ 2011- She continues her work in the furniture sector as a designer for several important companies in Veneto and Emilia-Romagna.
2017 to present- Independent Artist; Atelierist, painting student and related subjects at Reart Reggio Emilia.
She continues experimentation also thanks to her great passion for other cultures abroad, deepening her knowledge of analog and digital photography with consequent inspiration for her works.
Her curiosity for different modes of expression for art brings her closer to the world of ceramics, with Raku as her favorite.
The technique will be learned and deepened in the great workshop of master Nico Toniolo in Marostica.
She participates in several artistic competitions with some works that received jury recognitions such as the first prize at Raku Padova Arts in 2001. Further study of the illusionistic technique of marble and stone such as travertine and Carrara marble.
*Currently her most used technique is oil in continuous evolution thanks to the mixing of tactile grounds blended with ultramarine blue, metallic oxides, pumice and whatever the moment or chance brings to her at that moment.

*She works and evolves an innovative original and abstract Sealing artistic style. Unique of its kind.
She participates in numerous exhibition events with subjects and themes always different, making her works appear as if by different hands, all thanks to her imaginative and eclectic transformative ability.
*Her fertile mind leads her to approach art with a new, deeper and more subjective view, stripping it of the paradigms with which it is labeled, returning it to its true nature, that of speaking the language of feelings and the deepest human instincts by surpassing words. After three years of study she earned the title of Art Therapist recognized by UNI PRO.
