Willy Rizzo - Prince V.E. Savoia

It is an interesting photograph of the well-known artist Willy Rizzo, a photographer and designer of international fame, an icon of the glamorous life of the 1960s... In this image we see Prince Vittorio Emanuele of Savoy with his wife Marina Doria, probably during a visit to a submarine, almost certainly a image dating from the late 1950s/early 1960s, when the former world champion and her future husband were both about 25 years old. Willy Rizzo was also the photographer personally attached to Elsa Martinelli, first her partner and then her wife, and, in addition to photography, he devoted himself to furniture and object design, which indeed are known and appreciated worldwide. This photograph, in generally good condition, with very slight edge defects, measures 18x24 cm, and bears on the back the photographer's stamps and the stamp of the famous French agency Lynx.
