Zenith hand-wound Fliegeruhr with a 41 mm steel case, black dial, leather band, for men, dating to 1942 in the 1940s period, provenance private since 1942 with Luftwaffe context, fully revised in April 2026 (glass, mainspring, hands, movement cleaned and regulated) and shipped insured.

Zenith Wristwatch, 1940s – documented provenance – Revision 2026
Zenith manual-wind wristwatch from the 1940s.
According to family tradition, privately purchased in 1942 by an Luftwaffe NCO (b ord mechanic on Ju 52).
Since then continuously in family possession.
Purchased from watchmaker Otto Pohlmann, Kölleda (near the Air Equipment Office).
Movement
Signed manual-wind movement by Zenith, period-correct.
Configuration without small seconds, typical for the period and a product of wartime shortages economy.
Condition
Completely overhauled in April 2026 (documentation available).
Among other things:
Crystal renewed
Mainspring renewed
Hands replaced
Movement cleaned, inspected and regulated
The watch runs well.
Case with age-appropriate signs of wear.
New leather strap in pilot style.
Note
The crown winds with slight resistance/engages loosely.
For smooth winding, apply light pressure to the crown.
Function not impaired.
