Description from the seller
LUIS ESTEBAN GUTIERREZ: draftsman, writer, autodidact painter and architect; a multidisciplinary artist who has participated in various group exhibitions — some academic, some even rather subcultural. In the 1990s he practiced board game art, ventured modestly into music and pastoral theater.
52 x 63 cm with frame --- 42 x 45 cm without frame
After he coined the expression “I am the art of v.21” in 2001, he created video short films, performances, and happenings. He designed various projects, including Experimental Machines – to produce art, to have sex while flying, to fly while singing – as well as atypical living concepts, playful projects, etc.; also stage sets and costumes for five avant-garde theater pieces. His complex body of work follows the principle of hyperproduction.
Since 2004 he has been working on LOS MARTIRIOS (August 2006), a new dogmatic Legendarium of Art, in which the proclamation of Cyborg Painting stands out. In 2013 he published Martirologio Elehemyan, another new dogmatic Legendarium of Art.
