Proferio Grossi was an artist born in Vignale in 1923 and who passed away in Parma in 2000. His training took place under the guidance of Atanasio Soldati, guiding him toward geometric abstraction. In 1984 he joined the Movimento Arte Concreta. Subsequently Proferio Grossi shifted in his career as well, dedicating himself to figurative art, namely a painting of objects with strong critical and public acclaim. The entire final part of Grossi's production is characterized by this dialectic between abstract and figurative.
