Splendid advertising poster “Clément Cycles” of extraordinary visual impact, attributed to the great Art Nouveau master Arthur Foache.

Iconic composition of the late nineteenth century, depicting an elegant and sinuous female figure, immersed in a stylized landscape, beside a Clément bicycle, symbol of modernity and the industrial progress of the era. The graphic stroke, the fluid lines and the decorative use of color fully evoke the French Art Nouveau style, with evident influences from Parisian Belle Époque advertising graphics.

The poster represents one of the most fascinating subjects tied to the birth of modern advertising and to the world of bicycles, a sector in strong expansion at the end of the 19th century. The female figure, ethereal and refined, becomes here a symbol of freedom, speed and innovation.
