Description from the seller
Antonio Sciacca
Oil on canvas 50x70
Title: Mystical Nature
Signed: front and back
The painting is a still life with a metaphysical and symbolic flavour.
The composition concentrates on two main objects that evoke classical and pharmaceutical forms of the past.
In the foreground, dominant vessels or containers that recall ancient vessels for spices or ointments.
The one on the left is in a warm ochre/orange tone, while the one on the right presents a complex and vibrant coloration with purple shades. Violet touches of turquoise and yellow on the top.
Both rest on circular bases that serve as pedestals, accentuating their ceremonial importance.
The brushwork is material and visible, giving the objects a nearly tactile texture, a vibrant surface.
The use of light is soft and seems to come from the left, creating soft waves that give depth and volume to the forms.
It will be shipped with professional packaging and tracked shipping.
Authentic and autographed.
