Glazed ceramic vase in a deep blue color, signed by the emblematic ceramicist Jacques Blin (1920–1995).

The piece features a foliage motif, easily recognizable as the artist’s hand.

"Jacques Blin was born in Pierrefonds, in the Oise department, in 1920. A graduate of Aeronautical and Automotive Industries, he taught industrial drawing in Paris, then worked as an engineer in La Rochelle. Passionate about freedom and the plastic arts, it was in 1949 that he decided to give up aerospace. He trained in art ceramics in various Parisian workshops."

La pièce est à décor de feuillages, aisément reconnaissable de la main de l'artiste.

Epris de liberté et passionné par les arts plastiques, c’est en 1949, qu’il décide d’abandonner l’aéronautique. Il s’initie à la céramique d’art dans différents ateliers parisiens. "
