"Jacques Blin was born in Pierrefonds, in the Oise department, in 1920. A graduate of Aeronautical and Automotive Industries, he taught industrial drawing in Paris, then worked as an engineer in La Rochelle. Passionate about freedom and the plastic arts, it was in 1949 that he decided to give up aerospace. He trained in art ceramics in various Parisian workshops."
