Limited and Unique Edition
Elaborate printed Bible, with a gold metal cover and illustrations by Gustave Doré.
Made in the style of luxurious Bibles and Gospel books.
In respect for historical images, a Bible cover with a specific motif was designed by a graphic designer, which was subsequently handmade as a relief by an engraver. In an elaborate process, the brass plate is copied and deep-pressed, then inserted into the book cover.
Illustrated with 24 engravings from the popular and unique biblical cycle by the French artist Gustave Doré (1832 - 1883).
Weight: 2.7 kg
Exemplar in preservation state more than good; NB: some small stain on the metal cover as in photo.
NB: some scratches and/or stains on the leather parts;
