Authentic Koummya, not a tourist piece. Ancient blade in forged steel, workshop marktypical of Marrakech urban productions in the late 19th century. Dark horn handle, enlarged pommel characteristic of the Marrakech / High Atlas region. Ancient nickel-silver sheath, hand-cut geometric decoration, two traditional rings. Even patina, original assembly, very beautiful overall coherence. Dimensions: 38 cm. Condition: very good for its age, no modern restoration. Authentic ethnographic piece, comparable to models kept at the Pitt Rivers Museum and the Musée de Mariemont. Ideal for a collector of Moroccan or Berber bladed weapons.
