This rare model, printed with a sumptuous floral motif in a free, pictorial touch, evokes the art of gesture and the colorful romanticism typical of Balmain’s post-war creations.
The drawing, blending deep reds, luminous ochres and smoky foliage, seems to have been applied with a brush, in the spirit of impressionist painting.
