GOYARD Paris has been producing luxury luggage since 1886 to this day on Rue St. Honore.

Already in the early 1900s GOYARD luggage was a status symbol of the upper society. Later Marlene Dietrich traveled with d
GOYARD wardrobe trunks to the luxury hotels of this world.

Thus this travel trunk comes from the family ownership of the noble Albrecht von Damm lineage (A D as an embossing stamp on the outside, this was made for exclusive productions) in its 3rd generation, traveled from 1923 to 1941.

In this sense the suitcase bears signs of use from the loading handling of that era.

From 1950 it was only 2 times properly packed, moved, within the Damm family.
