According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais’s estimate in 2021 ranges from about 600 to 2000 euros for his paintings and screen-prints, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon, exploring several techniques—from abstract expressionism à la Rauchenberg or De Kooning, to material splashes à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage or Karel Appel’s expressionism, straddling the boundary between abstract gesture and figurative representation. Yet his distinctive mark remains that physical painting, the body-worked material bearing witness to the artist’s intimate monologue. An artist represented at the gallery Les Couleurs de l’éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutch art in the Netherlands. Mentioned by Artprice, Drouot, and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau (Moldova), Cannes, Pézenas and Lyon (Abbaye de Paul Bocuse gala evening 2023). Paris private collection gallery on Île Saint Louis since 2016. Exhibits in international galleries in Belgium, USA, Italy, and Portugal since 2019.
