According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais's price index in 2021 ranged roughly from €600 to €2,000 for his paintings and multiples prints, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism à la Rauschenberg or de Kooning, to material projections in the spirit of Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage, or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, roaming the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. Yet his signature remains this physical painting, the material worked with the body, a testimony to the artist's intimate monologue.
An artist represented at Galerie Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutch in the Netherlands. According to Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau (Moldova), Cannes, Pézenas and Lyon at the Paul Bocuse Abbey for a 2023 gala evening. Paris — private collection gallery on Île Saint-Louis since 2016. Exhibits in international galleries in Belgium, USA, Italy and Portugal since 2019.
