The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before being individually returned to our collectors without any constraints. The transport cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained prominence in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking that year among the top ten sculptors under 30 according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. Most recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, inspired by his meeting with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. The artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art at the Art Monaco fair with his Cryptogram One. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works on the theme “In God We Trust” at the Artco France gallery. His 2016 solo exhibition at Atrium Gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works in front of international press.

2026: - Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters, 7 tons. The world's largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.
2025: - Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the newly built Pavillon des Bains on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.
2024: - Art Miami – Group exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram of 1.8 meters and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival, for which the artist created 18 bronze trophies and a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. Artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.

2022: - New York: Times Square, NY City, projection on the Nasdaq screen of the work “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the Deauville American Film Festival trophies.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-high, entirely bronze One Dollar was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First time in Spain at the Atrium Gallery in Marbella, a solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the city’s mayor, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati, creating a monumental installation entitled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work consists of a Maserati covered with white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures representing one-dollar banknotes are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt.

2014: - Maserati presents worldwide the Maserati Ghibli reimagined by artist Karl Lagasse on the occasion of the marque’s 100th anniversary.
- Solo exhibition at the Italian Embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador in France organized a dinner in his presence, around the artist’s works.

2013: - Collective exhibition Automobile Club of France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: - Karl gave the city of Deauville a bronze Cryptogram One sculpture, which remains permanently at the city’s entrance.
- For the 65th Cannes Film Festival, Karl created a sculpture “Building” composed of a collage of photos retracing the festival’s key moments.
