About the artist

Alla Faber lives and works in Hamburg.
For several years she has been devoted to abstract and contemporary painting, creating large-scale works that balance stillness and movement, structure and lightness.

Her preferred materials are acrylic paints, texture gels, and metal foils – combined in fine, often multi-layered compositions.
Through delicate transitions, harmonious color gradients, and light reflections, images arise that do not dominate the space but fill it with quiet presence.

Her artistic work follows the concept “So sounds the silence” – a painterly exploration of the moment between sound and silence.
In this silence, for Faber there is no emptiness, but a living force: the breathing of light, the whisper of colors, the gentle pulsation of the space.

Her works invite the viewer to pause and listen to the silence – that state in which calm, light, and emotion merge into a harmonious unity.
