Description from the seller
- Limited edition of the artwork "Graffiti Beagle" by artist SKE
- Publisher: Atelier MONTMARTRE FineArt.
- FineArt print on museum-grade Hahnemühle art paper. ISO A3 format (42x29.7 cm) easy to frame.
- Edition number: 06/10
- Artwork created and drawn on a graphics tablet and Photoshop, no AI used. Theme: Comic/Band era Snoopy and Banksy.
- We thought we knew Banksy… until Snoopy pulls out his spray can.
Under his guise of a well-behaved dog, he leaves his paw on the wall and signs one of his finest coups.
Between a nod to the street and an intentional subversion, “Graffiti Beagle” transforms pop culture’s icon into an anonymous artist.
A playful homage to a world where even dogs have something to say — provided they have style.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all‑rounder who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring many of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencils, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s value has risen notably. He won the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then was named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, enhancing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and tactile textures characterize a style now indispensable.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Acclaimed & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
SKE’s work fits into a prestigious lineage. His line shows the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating Banksy’s subversion or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to subvert Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to bring them into a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA
Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and manga is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the mythical Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of a Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY
In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter sneakers (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off‑White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to forget mass consumer icons like Coca‑Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textured finishes sometimes recalling Jeff Koons’ glossy surfaces or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
