Description from the seller
"Redbullix" – Limited Edition (100 copies) - New collection 2026
Edition number: 07/100
Artist: SKE
Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris
Art paper 300 g – ISO A3 format – Signed, numbered – Certificate included
In this work, SKE reinterprets one of the most famous myths in comics: Asterix and his magic potion. Here, no more cauldron or druid. The recipe has evolved. The potion is now called Redbullix.
Asterix drinks, wings grow, energy overflows. The power is immediate, spectacular, almost too perfect. The antique myth meets modern marketing, and magic becomes a product ready to consume.
With humor and a wry tone, SKE plays on the slipping boundary between tradition and contemporary pop culture. What was once legend becomes a visual promise, direct and effective.
Pop touch, street energy, projections and splashes emphasize the explosive character of the scene.
A light, ironic, and highly legible work that questions our relationship with myths, brands, and modern magic.
Characteristics:
• Limited edition of 100 copies
• Printed on premium 300 g art paper
• ISO A3 format, easy to frame
• Each copy signed and numbered by SKE
• Delivered with certificate of authenticity
• Shipped protected, reinforced packaging
“Redbullix” is a vibrant and joyful piece, designed for collectors who love pop art, revisited comics, and works that tell a story.
A rare edition that will undoubtedly become a centerpiece of your collection.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as the “Artist of the Month” by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues across Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his position on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE has also established himself in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of pop culture, bold graphics, and textural play define a style that is now essential.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to watch, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Artist Rated & Awarded – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work fits into a prestigious lineage. His style echoes the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to juxtapose them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates the icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo’s universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superhero stable. SKE crystallizes these memories much like Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style that sometimes recalls Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and high fashion (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes that sometimes evoke the glossy surface of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
