Bruno Retaux (1947) - Souk à Marrakech

Oil on panel measuring 24 x 31.5 cm, signed bottom left B. Retaux and bearing on the back the studio stamp as well as an inventory number. It depicts, as is often the case with the Orientalist painter, a view of Morocco. The artist is a noted artist, a friend of André Hambourg and Maurice Boitel, two winners of the Ab El Tif prize for Orientalist painting in Algiers. Sold unframed.
