Very large string of glass beads from Mali. Originally produced in Bohemia (Czech Rep.) in the 1960-70`s and exported to Mali where they were very popular with the Fulani people, during marriages; hence their name "wedding beads".
A large variety of colours and designs is presented here. There are 17 triangular beads ( 3 x 3,5 cm) and 3 "claw-beads". ( 3 cm high). Some scratching and chipping has occured, due to their long use. Collected in Mali in the late 1990`s.
