Antique Giltwood Sunburst Mirror with Convex Glass – French Baroque Style, 19th Century
Striking antique sunburst mirror crafted in carved giltwood, featuring a beautifully aged gold finish and a central convex mirror plate.
The radiating wooden rays are finely shaped, creating a dramatic and elegant decorative effect typical of French Baroque and Louis XIV-inspired designs. The convex mirror adds depth and visual interest, making it a highly decorative statement piece.
The original gilding shows a rich patina with minor wear and small losses consistent with age, enhancing the authentic antique character of the mirror.
