Description from the seller
LADY IN RED
95 x 70 cm
Acrylic on canvas
Lady in red presents a female figure in an interior, captured in a restrained gesture while remaining seated in front of a table. The composition is organized around the diagonal of the body and the arm, establishing a clear structure where the gaze and the posture build an atmosphere of pause and distance.
The predominance of red, contrasted with deep blacks and white accents in the accessories, defines the image and reinforces its visual unity. The simplification of forms and the use of clearly delineated color planes contribute to compositional clarity, transforming the scene into a synthetic image where elegance and formal control are balanced.
PACKAGING AND AUTHENTICATION
The work is offered directly by Mar Legón, and includes a certificate signed by the artist. The painting (unframed) will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube to ensure its proper preservation during transport. After payment is confirmed, a maximum lead time of three business days is required to prepare the work before shipment. The delivery time will depend on the destination, with an estimated period of up to ten business days.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mar Legón develops a painting practice centered on exploring color as structure and emotion. Her work is characterized by clear compositions, formal synthesis, and vibrant contrasts that place the everyday in a contemporary territory.
Through still lifes, tropical scenes, and elements of the immediate surroundings, she builds a coherent and recognizable visual language. Each work is an original piece that reflects constant research into the balance between form, color, and space, consolidating a solid artistic identity with ongoing projection.
