Description from the seller

Description of the work

Work by Sandra Fontenas, French visual artist, born in 1973 in La Rochelle.
Title: Carrying the fragile
Year of creation: 2024
Year of printing: 2026

Process & technique:
Professional lab print on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Supreme Lustre photographic paper, 220 g/m².
The work was digitally created with generative artificial intelligence software, through the writing of precise textual descriptions (prompts). Each composition results from an iterative process: formulation, generation, selection, and refinement, until the desired result is obtained.

Edition: 1/10 — print limited to 10 copies.

Each print is hand-signed by the artist and numbered on the back, guaranteeing authenticity and traceability within the limited edition.

Provenance: Direct sale by the artist. Sandra is also represented by WeAreNewComers (Paris) and Desyre.ai (Dubai & Germany), and regularly exhibits at Galerie ADOR Experience (Île de Ré, France).
Documentation: Certificate of authenticity included, available in print or via email.

Condition: Excellent condition.

Framing: Unframed — ready to frame. The artist recommends a presentation with a wide mat, or even extra-wide, which gives the image additional depth and breathing space. Of course, this suggestion is optional — the work adapts to all display choices.

Format: 40 × 30 cm.

Shipping: Professional packaging with non-pilly cotton gloves — worldwide shipping.

About the artist

Sandra Fontenas is a French visual artist whose practice sits at the boundary between real and imagined. Trained in interior design, she developed early a keen sense of composition and mood, before turning to photography, the medium through which her need to create emerged.

Today, she explores generative AI as a plastic material in its own right — guiding, shaping, and molding artificial intelligence to extract images that exist nowhere else but in her imagination. She defines herself as an ia-grapher: a photographer of the mind, who captures not the present moment, but the dreamed moment.

Her universe, deeply inspired by surrealism, calls upon light, texture, and emotion to give form to a dreamlike and sensual aesthetic. The feminine, the intimate, the body, and identity are at the heart of her compositions, treated with subtle poetry that blurs the line between gentleness and power, reality and metamorphosis.

Each work is offered as a limited print, signed and numbered — an invitation to acquire a unique image, born from a dialogue between the artist and the machine, where the human gesture remains, always, first.

Her works are exhibited in the ADOR Experience galleries in La Rochelle and on Île de Ré, and are available internationally on Catawiki.
