Description from the seller
Better in black NO.20
A dance of ink splatters creates a mysterious, abstract texture.
For sale is an impressive abstract artwork in black and white, the minimalist style that immediately catches the eye.
Textures break through the dark canvas, creating a mysterious atmosphere of untold stories.
A deep black settles on white structure. The side edges have been incorporated into the image. A shadow gap frame is therefore not strictly necessary.
An image by the artist commissioned exclusively for the Catawiki Selection.
Acrylic on canvas. The unique work is signed on the back and will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
The painting will be shipped rolled (without a stretch frame) to keep shipping affordable.
Each work is produced with high-quality materials and is coated with a protective, slightly glossy final varnish.
This image is ideal for a frame of the size 150x90x1.5 cm.
The depicted shadow gap frame serves only as an illustration.
All works by the artist are unique. They are handmade paintings created with various techniques. The photos are not edited, though slight color variations may occur due to photography. Cracks, nicks, elevations, and splashes of paint are part of the painting style. They are not defects and were intentional by the artist.
ARTIST
MANUELA Decker
The native Swabian woman now lives and works as a freelance artist and creativity coach with her family in Osnabrück. Her works are now in private collections worldwide. Interior consultants appreciate collaborating with her. She still calls herself a self-taught artist of ART. Despite various study programs, for her the self-learning through experimentation and continuous practice is central and shapes her works. For GANTER, the independently acquired skill stands for strength. Many of her works express feelings and moments in her life.
“When, at the end, life merges with art and influences it, the most beautiful pictures are created.” - Manuela Decker
