Description from the seller
LivE is a patented and registered trademark of Brother X.
The image is designed to beautify the street scene and convey a modern message to people.
LivE stands for leef; the letters all have different sizes and shapes but form one whole.
The work is made to present society as it is—a mix of other colors, beliefs, 'incomplete' people who are complemented by others (the V that fills the gap in the E), the i that is smaller than the other letters, the L that is wider than the rest.
The work is designed as a bench, playground equipment, a meeting place to talk. The L and the I form the supports to push against lies, the supports to jump through the opening between the two letters, the opening as a resting place (bench) for the feet to rest, etc.
The message behind the work is double: live, regardless of how you are, what color you have, how you look, but also that life gives you support (the L and I), that you must leap through life (through the opening of the L and the I), that you must sometimes rest (sit on the V and E), that life teaches you to meet people (a kind of supporting table between the L and I).
The work is offered in different cities and different countries to integrate it into social neighborhoods.
With the work comes a full presentation of the work, the philosophy behind the work, the design plans, a copy of the patent, registration, trademark and logo.
Negotiations with various cities are ongoing to make the work public. The likelihood is very real that you will see this work on the street in different cities.
This work has served as a prototype for performances and also as a basis for the form, dimensions, and visualization of the concept.
Limited editions are being prepared of this work. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
The work of Brother X has in recent months come into the spotlights several times with sales and mentions abroad.
Brother X was awarded in 2020 as best 3D artist in the Mixed Materials category, in Belgium.
The style is unique (a combination of a specially designed 3D model on a canvas board) and is a mix of sculpture and painting.
