Guinness, a digital inkjet Giclée portrait by Lemagne'83, 80 cm high by 60 cm wide, printed on 300 g/m canvas in 2026, hand-signed, in exceptionally well preserved condition (EBC).
Description from the seller
"Guinness" is a work inspired by Guinness beer's toucan, which has been an iconic and very popular character in its advertising since 1935. It symbolized the slogan "My Goodness, My Guinness" and promoted the idea that beer was good for everyone. I take ownership of the Character and reinterpret it as an elegant Toucan in a tuxedo and a top hat to make it even more refined.
Artist John Gilroy introduced the bird, inspired by the idea of intelligent animals from a circus. The toucan became the most famous of the advertising animals, appearing in posters and commercials for decades. Although the main use was in the 1930s-1980s, its image became inseparable from Guinness, representing the fun and quality of the beer.
The artwork is made with digital techniques: AI, Lightroom and Photoshop. Achieving an exceptional result. It is printed on a 300 g/m² canvas, with Inkjet (Giclée) printing. It is intervened in different areas with acrylic glazes to emphasize the colors.
The varnish layer preserves the painting from dust and UV rays.
The shipment of the artwork does not include a wooden frame. It will be packed in a sturdy tube and shipped via UPS or FedEx.
* The photos were taken with non-professional lighting, so any lack of definition is justified by the result produced by the device with which it was made.
