The first image represents the transition of the work from the external wall to the interior space of buildings. What is created on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside apartments, houses or museums, drastically changing environment and meaning. In this case, a corner of the wall deemed most interesting is selected and cut, the one on which the street artist had carried out the exterior intervention. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once the cut is made, this piece of wall can be moved and placed inside: in homes, in buildings, in museums or in other edifices. In this way the work changes environment and function, moving from the public and daily space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and exhibited as a true artistic object. All this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum one.
