Impressionist oil painting on cardboard by the Stuttgart Impressionist Erwin Starker. The work is unsigned but was attributed to the painter by a well-known auction house. Karl Erwin Starker (* February 8, 1872 in Stuttgart; † April 18, 1938 in Ditzingen) was a German landscape painter. His works are attributed to Swabian Impressionism.

However, the previous owner believes that this painter is Hermann Pleuer. Hermann Pleuer (* April 5, 1863 in Schwäbisch Gmünd; † January 6, 1911 in Stuttgart) was a Swabian Impressionist and landscape painter.

The painting is in a condition appropriate for its age in the original frame. Minimal color loss (photo) and in some areas slightly wrinkled.

The size with frame is 32 x 42.5 cm. Without frame 27 x 37 cm.
