Artist Ed Mittendorf (Mivillage) presents Reliëf (NUL) "ZERO"stijl Nr 4, an original, hand-signed relief in mixed media, 37 × 37 cm, 2026, sold with a frame, produced in the Netherlands.
Description from the seller
I am Ed Mittendorf, an artist, 84 years old, and I work under the name Mivillage. I lived, worked, and exhibited for 18 years in France. I now live and work permanently in the Netherlands.
My works were designed back then in the “NUL” style from the 1960s. When artists Arnando, Jan Henderikse, Henk Peters, and Jan Schoonhoven became known internationally, the style was called “ZERO.”
These new series of small reliefs are made with cardboard and painted with a self-developed coarse-structure paint, and the depictions are handmade. The regular depictions emerge as deliberately “not exact,” which characterizes the unique nature of the works.
Besides these reliefs, I also create in this “NUL” style the Silence and Mondrian 3D series. The World First - "CrinckleArt". I developed and executed this technique myself. This work is very well received in Europe.
The works are mounted in a luxury box frame. The size is 37 cm wide by 37 cm long and 6 cm high.
Each artwork is original and signed on the back. Signing on the front would mar the presentation.
