I am Ed Mittendorf, an artist 84 years old, working under the name Mivillage, and I lived, worked, and exhibited for 18 years in France. I now live and work permanently in the Netherlands.
My works were designed then in the 'NUL' style from the 60s. Where at that time the artists Arnando, Jan Henderikse, Henk Peters and Jan Schoonhoven became known. Internationally the style 'ZERO'.
These 'NUL' style series in Silence are the World First - "CrinckleArt". This technique I developed myself and executed myself. This work is very well received in Europe.
Each component is unique and hand-painted on paper and afterwards the work is deformed (CrinckleArt) with various resins and specially dried to a strong and shiny artwork.
The works are mounted in a luxurious cradle frame. The size is width 37 x length 37 cm and 6 cm high.
Besides these series I make white reliefs in the same 'NUL' style.
Each artwork is original and signed on the back. Signing on the front mars the presentation.
