About the artist
Ellis Hollering is a Dutch contemporary abstract-realist artist based in Eindhoven. Her work unites realism and abstraction, often inspired by travel, nature and moments of personal transformation.

With deep, powerful colors, soft transitions and gold details, she creates layered paintings that symbolize the many layers of life. From a distance they form a whole, but up close new details are revealed again and again. Themes such as self-discovery, inner strength and connection recur. Her work is now in private collections across Europe, North America and Canada.
