Description from the seller
Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one notices the great fascination that 20th-century Italian art has been able to exert on him, with great masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà and de Chirico. In his forty years of artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV programs devoted entirely to him. The Maestro Rolfi's artistic work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and television and radio stations. Among the most notable events are the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held at Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome in 2002 inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni, the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome, the solo show at Mondadori in Milan, the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria, and BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro’s paintings have been used for about 6 years as set designs for Rai 3's GEO program.
His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada and throughout the rest of Europe.
Oil painting and mixed media on a stretched panel.
In art, Mixed Technique indicates a work created using multiple materials or different techniques within the same composition. The artist is therefore free to use and mix any technique or material to create his work.
The painting is a seascape, one of the landscapes of memory. The work is supplied with an Authentication Certificate signed and stamped and shipped via FedEx.
