Alain Prost is a four-time Formula One World Champion and needs no further introduction. From 1987 until 2001 Prost held the record for the most Grand Prix victories and is considered one of the greatest F1 drivers ever. He earned his nickname ‘The Professor’ for his intellectual and calculated approach to competition. The F1 seasons of 1988 and 1989 will always be remembered by fans due to the fierce competition between him and his teammate Ayrton Senna; Senna won the 1988 season and Prost the 1989 season.
Prost drove for McLaren, Renault, Ferrari, and Williams, and he also had his own team in 1997 called Prost Grand Prix.

This is a very nice helmet and a great collectible from the winner of 51 Formula One wins and the 4-time (1985, 1986, 1989 and 1993) Formula One World Champion.
As you can see this helmet has no chin strap to close it like normal helmets; it closes with two half-round clamps on the bottom of the helmet. It has a lock mechanism with the two red buttons to open and close it safely. This fantastic and special helmet will look perfect in any motorsport or F1 collection, man cave, home, or office.
