Description from the seller
Girls in the Garden
50 x 40 cm
A moment that doesn’t want to be captured.
In motion, half visible, half already gone again.
Nothing is clearly defined.
And that is precisely where the lightness lies.
The body almost dissolves.
Only a feeling remains.
Still and alive at the same time.
Like a summer day that cannot be held onto.

About me:
"My painting moves on the border between figuration and abstraction – a tension-filled dialogue of expressive gesture, intense color worlds, and intuitive dynamics.
Inspired by the energy of abstract expressionism, which moves between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony."
Each work is a process of questioning and rediscovery:
Lines break through surfaces.
Figures appear and disappear again.
An emotionally charged dance between control and letting go."
Mila Veljac'a is a visual artist from Croatia. She trained at art academies in Croatia, Vienna, Salzburg and Stuttgart and spent several years sharing her expertise as a lecturer for visual arts.
