Description from the seller
Girl on the Chair
120 x 100 cm
A moment that tilts.
The body hangs, almost without support.
Between fatigue and letting go.
Nothing is held, nothing is controlled.
The room stays quiet,
only the trace of movement remains.
Perhaps it is precisely this moment,
in which you no longer have to be strong.

About me:
"My painting moves at the border between figuration and abstraction — a tension-filled dialogue of expressive gesture, intense color worlds, and intuitive dynamism.
Inspired by the energy of Abstract Expressionism, which moves between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony."
Each work is a process of questioning and rediscovery:
Lines break through surfaces.
Figures appear and disappear again.
An emotionally charged dance between control and release."
Mila Veljac'a is a visual artist from Croatia. She pursued further studies at art academies in Croatia, Vienna, Salzburg and Stuttgart, and for several years shared her expertise as a lecturer in visual arts.
