Description from the seller

Visible part: about 17 x 12 cm
Panel: about 17.5 x 12.5 cm
Frame: 21 x 16 x 1.5 cm

PLEASE NOTE: UNFORTUNATELY THE WORK CANNOT BE SHIPPED TO AMERICA!

Lovely small original cat painting with a lively brushwork, painted by the Dutch-Danish artist Borgen Lindhardt.

Graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts Maastricht (1996). Uses Borgen Lindhardt as a signature name and is known for her “kimono series,” inspired by the work of G.H. Breitner. Creates oil paintings in which old masters, combined with personal elements (cat, painter’s materials, and fantasy figures), form a new spectacle. Her style is characterized by a visibly thick brushstroke, and she moves from detailed, fantasful and playful works to lively sketched paintings.

Comes directly from the artist.

Is framed in a neat wooden frame.
Well packed and shipped with tracking.

The painting is protected with a layer of retouch varnish for protection. Please, after the drying period (about a year), apply a final varnish yourself to preserve gloss and color.
