Il galeone, an oil painting by Leon Giuseppe Buono (1887–1975) from Italy, original edition, depicting a maritime landscape, signed by hand, in good condition, sold with a frame; framed size 76 × 86 cm (unframed 54 × 64 cm).
Description from the seller
Provenance: private collection.
Framed dimensions: not provided (unframed) 54 x 64 cm
The work, of excellent artistic and chromatic quality, is in good conservation condition, with aging signs visible from the photos. The painted film is nevertheless well adherent to the original support.
Upon analysis with a Wood lamp, the artist's signature appears autographic and contemporaneous with the creation of the painting.
Note the presence on the back of a second painting by the artist, as visible in the photo.
The frame shown in the photos above has been added to the artwork by the seller or a third party. The frame is supplied at no additional cost so that it is ready to display upon arrival. The frame is included as a courtesy and is not considered an integral part of the artwork. Therefore, any potential damage to the frame that does not affect the artwork itself will not be considered a valid reason to open a claim or to request order cancellation.
We guarantee careful packing and traceable shipping.
In-person pickup is available exclusively for buyers in the local area. Personal couriers arranged by buyers are not accepted.
The work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
