Elegant and refined centerpiece basket in solid 800 silver, an example of excellence in Milanese artistic silverware from the first half of the 20th century.
The item is a historical piece certified by its original hallmarks:
Manufacturer: Arno Fassi (Milan), identifying stamp 770 MI.
Dating: Certified by the diamond-shaped mark with the Fasces Littorio, used exclusively between 1934 and 1944.
Silver Quality: 800 (mark in the oval).
Artistic Characteristics:
The basket features a splendid openwork (pierced) design that simulates a stylized wicker weave. The Lobed rim is richly decorated with floral motifs (roses and peonies) executed with repoussé and chasing technique. The fixed handle repeats the grapevine motif, giving harmony and solidity to the entire structure.
