The second edition of Thomas George Shaw's comprehensive exploration of viticulture, oenology, and the wine trade, illustrated throughout.Illustrated with a folding frontispiece, and thirty-one vignette illustration, including two folding tables and a map.Collated, complete.Drawing upon his decades years of experience as a Scottish wine merchant, Shaw offers both technical insights and personal anecdotes, providing readers with information on wine production and appreciation.
Book in very good condition overall, inside light stains especially beginning/end, cleaner in the middle. A few pages badly opened. Externally original decorated cloth with wear around edges and corners, shelfwear, wear head and tail of spine, overall good.
