Oil painting on paper. The dimensions are 62x60, please allow a couple of centimeters of border to trim at the moment it will be framed (this was used to pull the paper onto the board to treat it), so it stays more protected; therefore the actual measurements of the painting will be about 60x58.

I am Barbara Bartolomei. I create paintings covering a variety of themes such as portraits, the human figure and animals, landscapes, still life, sacred art and fantasy compositions. My painting technique unfolds through several distinct stages of work as taught by the masters of the Florentine Renaissance, executing oil compositions while experimenting with different supports.

I studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and at the Sacred Art School of Florence. I am a painting lecturer for adults, a teacher in international master programs and summer courses for Italian and foreign students. I have collaborated in the creation of large-format sacred works and have curated exhibition projects, from graphics to the photographic catalog.

I paint everything that can be expressed through beauty, in a dimension of encounter between dream and reality. I have sold works across Europe and outside the EU, painting both on commission and for auctions and private collectors.

I ship the painting well protected, rolled in a packing tube.
